02 DEAR MEN
MARCH 2023

43 page broadhseet printed using the ‘Newspaper club. Newspaper is 350x500mm and has been printed on 55gsm newsprint.
Newspaper broadsheet created alongside a chair as part of a collaborative project which aims to raise awareness around unfair treatment and sexual harassment within the workplace.

The chair has been created to act as a conversation starter around the topic of harassment in the workplace. The idea being that the broadsheet would be placed onto the chair which invites the public to sit, read and educate themselves. We chose a specific phrase and a specific chair to use for this project as we wanted men to not only educate themselves on the subject, but to also feel even a small fraction of the discomfort that women experience in the workplace. In addition to this, we hoped that the broadsheet would help victims of harassment feel seen and supported.

The imagery for this project has also been used in the BA Graphic Design’s course promotional campaign for the annual degree show. Multiple billboards of our work were placed around Bristol.
